"Take an in-depth look at fossils: exploring how fossils are made, where to locate them, and how they are found!

Students will learn the different methods of fossilization, the major fossil types, and how the environment and other elements help fossils to form.

See a demonstration of how paleontologists use molds and casts, and get up-close with real fossil specimens from the Museum collections as you discover all the facts on fossils.

Want to know why scientists are so interested in fossils? From footprints to bones to petrified wood, this presentation reveals the amazing clues fossils teach us about life millions of years ago!"
