Ooh la la! You’re cordially invited to a fabulous (that’s a fancy word for amazing) morning of tea, treats, and togetherness at the Dickinson Public Library! We’re kicking off the new year with our first-ever Family Tea Party on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 1PM to 2PM.

Important: This is a registration-only event, and spots are limited. Please make sure you are signing up for the correct event when you register.

Come dressed in your fanciest attire, whether that’s a sparkly dress, a dapper bowtie, or your favorite cozy outfit. We’ll sip tea, enjoy delightful treats, read a charming Fancy Nancy story, and create a craft that’s très chic (that means super fancy).
Fancy outfits are highly encouraged but absolutely not required. This event is open to families and is the perfect way to start the year with sparkle, creativity, and fun!

Children must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible caregiver at all times. Library staff cannot supervise unattended children. Kids who can safely use the library independently may do so if they follow all behavior rules. Children who cannot follow the Code of Conduct may be asked to leave, and a parent/guardian will be contacted if needed.
