Tween STEM

Tween STEM

Explore the exciting world of STEM at our Tween STEM Event on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, for ages 10-12! Join us for a fun-filled hour of hands-on activities and experiments designed to spark curiosity and foster a love for science, technology, engineering, and math. In this session, we will be making newspaper boats! This activity is a fantastic way to explore principles of engineering and physics. Using just newspapers and tape, participants will design and construct boats that can float and hold weight. This challenge will teach tweens about buoyancy, stability, and structural integrity in a fun and interactive way. Building newspaper boats not only enhances problem-solving skills but also promotes teamwork as participants can collaborate on their designs and test the limits of their creations together. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to learn and play with fellow tweens!
